Usher, Mark Wahlberg, Run-D.M.C sued for infringing copyright

Usher, Mark Wahlberg and Run-D.M.C. are facing a copyright infringement lawsuit.
According to Yahoo News, those 3 and other musicians  were sued for using samples from a R&B hit song without permission.

In the suit, Usher infringed on “Different Strokes” with his 1993 song “Call Me a Mack,” while Public Enemy made use of the tune on multiple songs, including “Fight the Power” and “Fear of a Black Planet.”, Yahoo News added.

This isn’t the time that “Different Strokes” had a copyright lawsuit. Kanye West and Jay-Z were sued that the song was improperly sampled on that pair’s album “Watch the Throne.” That suit was later settled.
