According to UPI, Apple dropped its trademark lawsuit against a German coffee shop. Apple file a trademark suit over its apple shaped logo in 2011.

Christin Romer, the owner, opened the coffee shop and named it ‘Apfelkind’ which means Apple child in English in May 2011. Apple claimed that the coffee shop’s apple shape logo may cause confusion with their logo. Then Apple suddenly withdrew the case October 2013 without any explanation.

Romer added that she would like to make her business like Starbucks and that’s why she wanted to register the trademark.
