Starbucks filed a trademark application for the name "Starbucks Fizzio" which is created for their new line of soft drink machines, The Atlantic Wire reported. It says that the name is for beverage making
machines, as well as a variety of drinks, including soft drinks.
Zack Huston,Starbucks' spokesman, said to NBC news that it’s
related to the company’s test of sodas in Atlanta and Austin. Starbucks has
been testing 3 flavors - Lemon Ale, Original Ginger Ale and Spiced Root Beer-
he added.
This trademark filing may be the first step
for Starbucks’ new business expanding of carbonated drinks.
