Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO)
announced that it will help to develop ‘Creative Economy Town’ with Ministry of
Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) on its web site.
Creative Economy Town is a web site that people can
participate in proposing, developing and commercializing ideas. According to
the article, they have received over 1,200 proposals for ideas in 2 weeks.
KIOP will look into the ideas from the
members and select best/proper idea with technological innovations and
potential competitive in current markets.
“Creative Economy Town is a detailed
platform to create markets and jobs by making use of people’s creativity as a
resource. It was established so that anyone with a creative imagination can
play a leading role in the creative economy,” KIPO’s Director, Yong-seon Kim
said.
