An Idea product for clean tumbler

Introducing ideas for a clean tumbler.

HYDAWAY
Powerful water bottle cleaning tablets

In winter, a lot of tumblers are used to drink warm water or coffee.
In recent years, a lot of people are using tumblers, encouraging the use of personal tumblers or water bottles rather than disposable cups to protect the environment.

However, due to the nature of the tumbler, which contains a various kinds of drink, it must be cleaned after use. The problem is that washing the tumbler every time is cumbersome and inconvenient, so many people just clean it with water. But rinsing only with water may seem neat on the surface, but it is not good for hygiene.

‘HYDAWAY’ is an idea product that allows you to wash your tumbler simply and quickly.
You don't need any tools. Put the warm water in the tumbler and shake it with a pill-like product.
It reacts with warm water to produce fine bubbles, and the bubbles clean the inside of the tumbler when you shake it.

Of course, it may be less effective than washing the inside with a brush yourself, but this may be a good idea for those who are troublesome and feels annoying or who use tumblers outside.

Development of long-term patent predictability model

The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) and Prof. Kunkuk University Yoon Jang-hyuk said that they developed a model that can predict the long-term sustainability of patents using artificial intelligence. The predictive model is said to learn artificially the relationship between key indicators of US patents and patent retention periods. As companies’ point, since they can select and predict high-value patents, it is expected to help them to develop long-term strategies.

pixabay.com

Necessity of screening patent
The duration of patent rights is quite long, 20 years after filing. Why should we select long-term patents? It is due to the maintenance costs of the patent. Patents must be paid annually for maintenance, which is not a problem if the number is small, but the cost of maintaining and filing hundreds or thousands of patents a year like a large company is significant. For this reason, it is very important for companies to manage patents efficiently by pre-selecting patents with high business value.

pixabay.com

10% long-term strategy patent
When KISTI applied the predictive model for the latest 160,000 patents this year, it was found that about 16,000 cases, which is about 10%, would be high in the long term. By sector, many patents are concentrated in the fields of information and communication technology and medical convergence technology, and the company with the most long-term strategy patents is IBM, followed by Apple and Google.

Efforts to Increase national competitive power
KISTI and Kunkuk University researchers, who developed the predictive model, said that the research was developed to predict the national long-term response direction or to effectively predict and analyze the long-term technology strategy of competitors. As the researchers say, I hope that the technology sensing system using artificial intelligence can raise the R&D competitive power in Korea.

Nokia breaks 2000 patents of 5G

Nokia declared to the European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) that Nokia has exceeded 2000 patents for Standard Essential Patent on 5G communications. Nokia has continued to invest in developing 5G communications-related patents at the company level, and said they’re working to establish 5G standardization and implement 5G networks. Currently, R&D is under way to develop Release16, the next generation standard.

Nokia was a strong player of mobile phone
In fact, Nokia was a handset maker that took the top share in the feature phone market before smartphones appeared. At the time, it was very popular in the world market due to its excellent durability and quality, and was one of the leading companies to feed Finland. However, with the advent of the smartphone era, Nokia was unable to keep up with the times and was eroded from the mobile phone market.

flickr.com

 Transform into a network company
Nokia, which had been pushed out of the market, seemed to retreat as it was, but tried to turn it into a network company by abandoning cell phone manufacturing. Since then, the company has invested heavily in network communication-related patents. Currently, the company receives patent royalties from various companies based on patents, and many companies including Korea use Nokia's network equipment.

Leap once again
Behind the trends of the times, Nokia succeeded in transforming itself through a drastic constitution improvement and is trying to make another leap. Recently, ultra-low-priced feature phone products have been launched to target the niche feature phone market among flooding smartphones. I wonder if Nokia, ready to jump to revive the glory of the past, will fly once again.

LG Electronics sues Chinese TV company

LG Electronics has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Chinese TV company Hisense. Hisense is a major TV company in China that ranked fourth in sales volume in the first half of this year in the global TV market and is expanding its business by starting its business in the US market. LG Electronics has attracted attention by filing aggressive lawsuits, including not only Hisense's Chinese subsidiary but also its US subsidiary.

Patent infringement issued
According to LG Electronics, Hisense infringed four patents. They’ve already sent warnings of infringement and asked for negotiations and settlements, but Hisense has remained in insincere attitude. After all, LG Electronics has filed a lawsuit to solve the problem.

A choice to hold a Chinese supplier in check
It is reported that LG Electronics filed a lawsuit against Chinese TV companies for 12 years after 2007. Industry officials commented on LG's lawsuit as an option to curb the growth of Chinese TV companies and correct the market order. China's TCL, which filed a lawsuit in 2007, surpassed LG Electronics in the North American market, making it the second-largest sales company. LG Electronics seemed to have needed to take the action on this Chinese company.

LG Electronics conducts aggressive management
Recently, LG Electronics has been implementing an aggressive management approach that is different from the previous policy. In last September, a lawsuit was filed against three companies in Germany, and a few years ago, they fought with Samsung Electronics over a marketing campaign. Mr. Jeon Saeng-Gyu, vice president of the patent center of LG Electronics, said they will respond strongly to the protection of intellectual property rights.
