Samsung Perfume-emitting Phone Patent

Thanks to the mobile technology, we have more fast and functional mobile devices available in every mobile shop. The mobiles are more developed on display, sound, and communicating technology so far, but what about our olfactory sense? It seems to be more human-friendly functions will be in future, like ‘Perfume emitting’ while we are on the phone.

 

Last August, Samsung applies patent in US with ‘Mobile phone having perfume spraying apparatus. The mobile contains a rechargeable perfume sponge and is emitting good scent that the users want. The scent is contained in a replaceable sponge in the mobile device and it is recharged when the phone is recharged. When sponge is being heated by the battery, the smell is released.
