MPAA, Motion Picture Association of America,
filed a copyright lawsuit against a file sharing sites in 2011 and it was disputable
and controversial. But according to Hollywood Reporter, a federal judge in
Florida ruled that the cyberlocker site, Hotfile.com, is liable for copyright
infringement.

The site was charged with enabling
copyright infringement "on a mindboggling scale," and deemed
"more egregious" than Napster, Grokster and Limewire and "indistinguishable"
from Megaupload, the article added.
