WIPS Participated the 'Patent War 2013'

Last July 11th, ‘Patent War 2013’ was held at Coex with the subject of ‘Evolving New Patent Era, Intellectual Property is the Key’

This was the 3rd conference since it started the annual conference hosted by Korean Etnews and KIPRA (Korea Intellectual Property Protection Association). 

At this conferences, many patent attorneys, lawyers, group of industry-academic cooperators, employees of research organization and government, and employees of intellectual property.

At the event, Eunyoung Park, WIPS’ head of Planning and Marketing department had presentations about ‘Apple’s patent purchase strategy analysis.’

During the presentation, Mrs. Park analyzed main technologies, main applicants, purchase status, technological status, and yearly status of patents that Apple owns based on WIPS online patent search engine, WINTELIPS.   Moreover, Park analyzed Apple’s offense and defense patent strategy through the analysis of Apple’s NPE, Rockstar Bidco (Rockstar Consortium).

WIPS also had a chance to meet clients at the product exhibition area and provided WINTELIPS trial desks for clients.
