KIPO announced that they are improving residential environment of Neapolitans by enhancing insulating effect of bamboo house as an Appropriate Technology development work using patent information.  KIPO and Habitat developed insulating effect technology of bamboo house in Terai, Nepal, 2012.

In Terai region, people freeze to death because the temperature range is huge during the summer.  Therefore, KIPO and Habitat developed easy, inexpensive and environment-friendly bamboo house using straw, soil to enhance its insulating effect.
