'Famous Jameis' trademark filed by a football fan, not Jameis Winston

According to Bloomberg, ‘Famous Jameis’ trademark has applied by a football fan from Alabama.  ‘Famous Jameis’ is a nickname of Jameis Winston, Florida State quarterback, and he has been known for this nickname recently.  

Mukul Mehra, the football fan who studied in University of Alabama School of Medicine, said that “I don’t know what our intent completely is. We haven’t worked all of that out.” in a telephone interview.

Pamela Deese, a partner at the Washington law firm Arent Fox, said ““You can’t register a trademark for somebody else’s name without their permission, which is what happened with Jeremy.”, Bloomberg added.
