US 3D Systems’ “laser sintering” (SLS Type: Selective Laser Sintering) 3D technology related patents will expire in February 2014. The Selective laser sintering print chemically pure, fully dense metal and ceramic parts from very fine powers with a particle size ranging from 6-9 microns.

If this SLS 3D printing method can be used in the metal processing field, the outputs will be more accurate and convenient. Generally, CNC metal printing method has been used for metal processing field. IT the industry use SLS 3Dprinting method, it will reduce the amount of materials and products’ price.
