Blue Calypso Inc sued Yelp, Groupon Patent infringement

Blue Calypso Inc, a technology and marketing company founded in 2009, sued Yelp and Groupon, Foursquare and other companies for patent infringement, Law360 reported.

The company filed 5 lawsuits against Yelp, Groupon, Foursquare and other social media companies claiming that they infringed a different patent covering mobile pictures and videos for brand endorsements.

Each company was asked for damages and an injunction.
