Bauuaer, the producer of hit song ‘Harlem
Shake', has been sued for copyright infringement for using voice samples on the
track without permission, mtv.com reported.
Harlem Shake took first place on
Billboard.com after uploading the viral video with funny dance. A lot of users
are playing the video and making their own Harlem Shake video. This has become
a huge trend in video communities after ‘gangnam style’.
But, Baauer is facing a lawsuit for
infringing trademark of sound and voice in the music. Two musicians, Puerto
Rico and Musson, sued him after found out that their sound and voice yelling ‘Do
the Harlem Shake’ were all around the internet, and they want compensation, mtv
added.
