Award Ceremony for D2B Design fair

Award Ceremony for D2B Design fair was held on 29th Nov at COEX. 

D2B Design fair was hosted by KIPO(Korean Intellectual Property Office), KITA(The Korea international Trade Association) and arranged by KAID(Korea Association of Industrial Designer).  The purpose of this contest is to make sure of royalty through design rights and to offer designs. All participating companies are involved in all the process- setting a subject, evaluation, award, getting license- aiming at commodities. In this year, total 25 with application for design was chosen among 2,318 entries since last April.

Winner of Grand Prix in this year was Sohwa Kim of Haengnam Chinaware designed a dinner an assortment of plates for single. 

WIPS also were involved in D2B Design fare so seleted the CI proposal for WIPS.

Jimin Choi, a manager of WIPS Brand Design Center, presented the award in person.

All works selected as prize winner was shown to many participants in the exhibition of trademarks and design right. We are looking forward to seeing new and striking works next year. Congratulations to all of winners!
