Nintendo can keep selling its Wii
technology in U.S. It was accused violating patent rights and the U.S ITC has
ruled that it did not.
According to Bloomberg, Creative Kingdoms
sued Nintendo in 2011 for infringing its patents related to motion technology. Creative Kingdoms developed magic wands and they
claimed that their motion sensor patents of magic wands were violated by
nintendo’s Wii controllers. But the ITC has ruled that Nintendo did not
violate the technology which is patented by Creative kingdom and rejected their
request to block imports of Nintendo’s Wii gaming consoles and remote controls.
