Korea Financial News reported on 12th, KIPO completed the system construction of a patent net system in Azerbaijan, Central Asia. This is second time for KIPO constructing the patent information system abroad following Mongolia in 2011. KIPO developed patent information system of Korean own patent office in 1999, called KIPO-Net. KIPO consulted patent information system for more than 10 countries including India, Philippines, and Vietnam and around 30 countries including USA and Japan benchmarked KIPO-Net.  Click here for the original article from Korea Financial News.

World best Long Term Evolution (LTE) patent holder LG Electronics also is leading the LTE Advanced (LTE-A) related patents.  US Professional consulting organization Tech IPM announce on 10th, that LG Electronics is holding the most LTE-A patents (around 23%) among 182 LTE-A patents which finished the cross-check.  LTE-A is a communication technology which evolved from existing LTE and may become the standard for the next generation mobile communication.   Samsung Electronics also accounted for second most LTE-A patent holder.  Here is the original article from Hankook Daily News.
