According to Korea Bank, there was 567% of increasing of 50,000 fake notes. It is a huge rate of increase compare to 10,000 fake notes. But, the Korean Intellectual Property Office says it is impossible (almost 0%) to make fake notes of 50,000 bank notes. Because there are 22 anti-forgery features in it.

There are many new anti-forgery features added to make more difficult to counterfeit such as solid silver line, hologram and color shift ink that changes color depending on viewing angle. Solid silver line is when you move the bill up and down, left and right, Taegeuk (the yin-yang) pattern will be shown. Hologram is shown us Korean map and Taegeok’s 4 patterns in same position when we see the money in different angles. Also the number of 50000 is in between them in lengthways. Color shift tech is that the number of 50,000 changes orange to green, and there is Shin Sa-im-dang, when the light up the white blank side of the bill. Korea has right to possess this color shifting technology.

For other technologies, we pay royalty to the world banks.

For example, the USA makes profit from other 11 world banks for having silver lining patent.  It seems that we need to figure out how to make profits from what we have with patent. And it needs to be a lot more research and development.
