Patented Chocolate

We cannot skip the chocolate posting in February!! The history of chocolate article by WPTZ.com notes that the origin of chocolate was drink.  Old Mayans had been were drinking chocolate, which comes from fermented, roasted and ground cacao beans, ‘Chocolatel’.

There are patents related to Chocolate manufacturing.  Let’s take a look at what are the patented technologies related to Chocolate. 

In Korea, there is patented chocolate made with tangerines. Jeju Island is famous for its well-known local products, tangerine.  The chocolate made with Jeju tangerine is famous souvenir for tourists.  With its popularity, Jeju Island is planning to export tangerine chocolate in the global market.

Traditionally, Korean ginseng is considered the best in the world.  The taste of ginseng root is sweetish at first and with a bitter after taste.  Here, the ginseng chocolate keeps the effectiveness of ginseng and better to have ginseng as sweets.
