Warner Bros Pictures has won its major legal
battle to maintain Superman copyright, cbsnews reported. This was Warner Bros.’s
huge problem to release its new Supermen movie this year, and the problem is finally
solved.
Cbsnews wrote that the 9th US Court
of Appeals said Jerome Siegel and the studio had an agreement in 2001, and Jerome
should abide by the agreement. So Jerome Siegel’s attempt to recapture rights
for Superman went to pieces. "Today's ruling vindicates DC Comics'
long-held position that it entered into a binding agreement with the Jerry
Siegel family in 2001," Warner Bros. said in a statement, Wall StreetJournal also reported.
