Apple has dropped the Galaxy S III Mini
patent-infringement lawsuit against Samsung, Bloomberg said. Apple had asked to
add the Mini and five other products from Samsung to its lawsuit. (click here

According to the filing in the U.S.
District Court for Northern California, Apple agreed to withdraw from the case after
Samsung assured they were not selling the Mini in the US. Bloomberg also added
that Apple found out Mini still on sale through Amazon.com, but they decided to
remains with their decision to drop the case. Because Samsung had represented
it wasn’t “making, using, selling, offering to sell or importing the Galaxy S III
Mini in the US”
