Jack Daniel's sues Popcorn Sutton to protect its trademark

Jack Daniel sued Popcorn Sutton claiming that its square bottle and the black-and-white label, The Inquisitr updated.

The lawsuit claimed the bottling and labeling of Popcorn Sutton is “confusingly similar” to its products. The suit added that “Tennessee whiskey is one of the oldest, longest-selling, and most iconic consumer products in the history of the United States” Jack Daniel is seeking for an injunction to stop Popcorn Sutton from using their bottle and labels and also damages. 

This Popcorn Sutton, which was moonshine by Marvin Sutton, was proved and admitted as a legal liquor in 2012. The name ‘Popcorn’ was his nickname. Click the links below to read more about Popcorn Sutton
