Bloomberg reported on January 29th, Samsung Electronics co Japan Intellectual Property High Court to dismiss Apple Inc.’s appeal in a patent –infringement case won by the South Korean company in August 2012. Samsung and Apple representatives made their first oral arguments before Judge Shuhei Shiotsuki this week, and the next round will be held March 21, the judge said.
In 2011, Apple file an infringement suit against Samsung in Japan and the judge said that Samsung did not violate the patents relating to the synchronization of video and music files with servers. The case is one of dozens in which the world’s two largest Smartphone makers are using their patents to try to force each other into changing products or removing some models from store shelves according to Bloomberg.
